Apr 11, 2010 Beware D.C. traffic gridlock from April 12-13 Nuclear Security Summit
On April 12-13, the District of Columbia Convention Center, near Chinatown, hosts the Nuclear Security Summit. Traffic gridlock galore is likely, and might even start today, Sunday.
At the very least, the expected traffic snafu will affect those going to the D.C. Superior Court, which is just a few blocks south of Chinatown. Anybody considering taking the subway as an alternative may very well be sardined with countless other people having the same idea.
I have court in D.C. Superior Court April 12-13. I learned of the gridlock after calendaring those court dates. I will leave for court extra early.
