D.C. government proposes requiring marijuana dispensaries to help subsidize sales to poor patients
Apparently a first in the United States, the District of Columbia has proposed a requirement for marijuana dispensaries to help subsidize the purchase of medical marijuana by poor patients. The Washington Times article on this proposal says:
"Capital City Care dispensary already offers discounts for seniors, veterans and low-income patients. ‘Capital City Care is happy to do its part to ensure that all qualified patients have access to the medicine,’ spokesman Scott Morgan[(whom I have known several years, from Flex Your Rights] said.
