First alcohol-free beer – Now, high-less marijuana, for medicinal users
Now marijuana prohibitionists have an even weaker case against medicinal marijuana, now that scientists have developed marijuana that does not make the user high. (TY Jonathan Turley, who apparently spends many daily hours blogging, while apparently making time to handle his other daily tasks. Perhaps he does not sleep.)
Here is some of the scoop:
"Israeli medicinal cannabis grower, Tikun Olam, began its research on CBD-enhanced cannabis in 2009 and about six months ago it came up with Avidekel, Zack Klein, head of development at the company, says. The new cannabis strain contains 15.8 per cent CBD and only traces of THC, less than 1 per cent. ‘Sometimes the high is not always what they need. Sometimes it is an unwanted side effect.’"
