More lessons on transcending hardships, from my assistant Nick Mugge
More lessons on transcending hardships, from my assistant Nick Mugge
Many times, I have blogged about approaches to transcending hardships and obstacles on the way to victory.
When I added Nick Mugge to our legal support staff earlier this year — part-time during his senior year of high school and full-time this summer — I was aware that his mother had suffered a stroke and that he had been providing her a lot of help. Just recently, though, I found this video telling the further story about this, and read his school newspaper’s article about it.
What prepared Nick to become such a champion for his mother, his family, and himself, rather than to become debilitated by the whole matter? This question I have not asked Nick. His achievement here is extraordinarily inspiring.
This video and news article speak for themselves. Thanks to Nick for giving me the go-ahead to link to the video, and thanks, Nick, for you.
