On federal raids of state-legal medical marijuana, will the real Obama Administration stand up?

Over two years ago, I blogged that the federal government was finally set to stop raiding state-lawful medical marijuana facilities. Unfortunately, we have seen an about-face by the federal government, returning to the same kind of raids.
Here are some links and further information about this state of affairs:
– Here is the October 19, 2009, Justice Department Ogden Memo about loosening federal enforcement of state-authorized medical marijuana.
– Here is Deputy Attorney General David Cole’s June 29, 2011, memorandum loosening restrictions on federal enforcement of state-authorized medical marijuana. This June 29 memo is not a welcome follow-up to Attorney General Holders’ assurance in early June 2011 that he would clarify the federal government’s policy about criminal enforcement against state-legalized medical marijuana.
– Just two weeks after the June 29, 2011, Cole memo was issued, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration announced the federal indictment of eight people for growing marijuana in California. The location apparently included medical marijuana cards thereat.
Legalize marijuana today, and not only for medicinal purposes.
