I stumbled into a misdemeanor charge; I responded immaturely to an act of aggression. My guilt was not in question, so understand there was only so much a lawyer could do for me. I had no experience with court and had no idea what to do or expect, so I turned to a law office I found on the web only to walk out more depressed after their gloomy outlook, Jail. It was a foreign cold dismissive experience talking to them, and I left wondering what have I done. My immaturity has put my future in their hands? I, fortunately even though I had little time, decided to continue looking and discovered Mr. Jon Katz. Jon, from the first meeting until our last contact, has a sympathetic warm way about him that engenders confidence. From the first meeting he focused on a method that not only developed his thorough interpretation of the event that led to my arrest but also with a focus on me, the human in difficulty. For some, that appreciation or sympathy may not matter, but it did to me. Jon’s method and candor helped me settle down and coup as I was depressed, unsure, and yes, scared. There are things suddenly on the plate to take care of when confronting a court case and Jon, and his staff, professionally promptly handle the court scheduling and documentation expectations/demands so all that potential stress is absorbed by them. But most importantly, it was Jon’s court savvy and experience that lead to a lesser charge. I was convicted as that was a given going in, but the punishment was community service not jail and for that I have Mr. Jon Katz to Thank. The last impression I choose to share is that Jon is driven, committed; Jon is a hard working determined legal mind. Mr. Jon Katz, and his prompt helpful staff, can help you prepare for and confront the court experience competently and confidently. Richard B.
