He was masterful in his strategy

Jon Katz represented me in a case where I was charged with speeding, failure to comply and DUI. I felt strongly that I was improperly stopped as I was paced at only a few miles over the speed limit. Jon was straight forward that this was a slim margin chance of victory yet fought hard to prove this point. He was masterful in his strategy and more importantly in his cross examination of the officer and challenging the prosecutor. They were no match for his knowledge of the law and his ability to convince the judge it was an improper stop resulting in acquittals on all charges. He is an excellent attorney and all around great guy who even gave me a ride to the airport.

Jon, is a warrior through and through. His meticulous preparation is just one of the keys to his success. His preparation leads to him knowing his cases so well that he can build a defense that will ensure that justice is achieved in he case. He is also innovative, does not fail to get experts when they are needed whether it be a toxicologist in a DUI case to refute the governments evidence, or the use of experts in helping him just prepare the trial even if they are not called to testify or give evidence themselves. Jon is also extremely passionate in his defense of others, that passion is persuasive to judges and jurors, it’s what helps to produce results. Jon is a fighter, he will not quit fighting until justice is served, it’s the only way he knows what to do, it’s why he’s a warrior!

Last year i was charged with a felony drug case. I met with Mr. Katz shortly after while searching for an attorney i felt would put in the work and go to bat for me. I had a couple bad previous experiences with lawyers in the past, but I quickly realized Jon was the lawyer for me. Mr. Katz was direct, knowledgeable, and took charge of the meeting in a way that gave me the feeling he was not easily pushed around in court. My case was put off multiple times, but Jon always kept me in the loop and ALWAYS responded quickly to my emails. In the end Jon was able to get my case dismissed entirely.
