He single-handedly helped me out of a situation I didn't think was winnable

If you are here, I was in your shoes not too long ago and looking for a lawyer. I got a DUI and a felony drug charge with a marijuana vape pen in Prince William County, and I was sure my life was ruined, so I started looking at lawyers to try to salvage my situation as best as I could. Mr. Katz came recommended from a friend after looking and talking to 2 other lawyers, thank goodness I made the decision to go with him. He was very prompt in getting back to me (which was the most important thing to me), and we set up a meeting to go over what had happened. I noticed when I visited him that he knew what he was doing and would not bullshit me in any way and would try to get the best possible outcome. We shook hands and he gave me homework. I will emphasize that the homework is THE MOST important thing you can do to help yourself. The court date came and as nervous as I was, Mr. Katz came in very confident and that put me at ease. He consulted with me, then talked to the PA for a good 5-10 minutes but it felt like a lifetime to me, and came back all smiles. I got the best possible outcome for anyone in my position. I figured I would get the DUI so that was expected, but I was really concerned about the felony drug charge because I was originally looking at 1 to 10 years. This madman somehow got it dropped to a disorderly conduct and no probation for anything. To say I was relieved is an understatement, he single-handedly helped me out of a situation I didn’t think was winnable. I would definitely recommend Mr. Katz to anyone because I know for a fact he will work hard to get the best possible outcome for you. Mr. Katz if you are reading this, I cannot thank you enough for what you did for me and I’m definitely grateful for all of your service and I’ll recommend everyone I know to you!

I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome and it was a lesson learned.

A few years ago when I was younger I got DWI and the next day was pulled over driving without a license since it was suspended due to the DWI the night before. Talk about double bad luck. Anyways I went to several lawyers but I didn’t feel they were the right ones until I went to see Jon. At first he didn’t want to take the case because he felt it was to easy and wasn’t challenging. Here I’m thinking he must be out of his mind, I’m in big hole with two different court dates and he thinks it’s not a big deal for him to take it on. Anyways to make this short, I ended up hiring him as my lawyer and he knew exactly how to handle each of the prosecutors for the different court dates and the DWI was reduced to reckless and the charges for driving on suspended license was 7 days restriction. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome and it was a lesson learned.

I can’t explain in words how much Jon fought for me.

Let me begin by saying that finding a good attorney is among the hardest decision I had to make but finding a top-notch attorney even harder. When I was looking for an attorney, I was looking for the number 1, and Jon Katz is that and much more. His will, dedication, humbleness, thrill to fight for you and knowledge of the law is among the finest I seen.

As many of you, I made bad decisions. My case was a very complex one to the point that my reputation, career, and everything I worked for was on the line. The case got so complicated that I could have end a good time in prison. Sometimes I had doubts about how things will end up. However, one thing I had zero doubts was on who I had on my side as my Attorney. I trusted Jon all the way. I remember going with Jon for my first hearing and noticed how Jon walked around the court room like he owns it. I don’t go to court rooms often, but I can tell you not many people walk to rooms with authority & confidence, but Jon Katz does.

To finalize, do your homework. Jon will tell you straight up what you need to do to help your case. Just do it, and the rest leave it to Jon as he will fight for you to the death. And when I mean he will fight; I can’t explain in words how much Jon fought for me. Jon completely saved my reputation.
