The foregoing is the lead quote from a 1998 study from the National Center for State Courts entitled Through the Eyes of the Juror: A Manual for Addressing Juror Stress.

I have just started reading the study, and expect to be writing more about it.

In the meantime, jurors should not be expected to be any more caring for lawyers and their clients than the lawyers and their litigants are towards the jurors. That is the magic mirror effect.

Let me begin by saying that finding a good attorney is among the hardest decision I had to make but finding a top-notch attorney even harder. When I was looking for an attorney, I was looking for the number 1, and Jon Katz is that and much more.
